HOW IT WORKS
MORNING CHECK-IN
Text Lifeline™ pops up a small “check-in”
notification on an individual’s phone each
morning. Perhaps it’s an aging parent that’s
living alone, a child off at college, a friend
struggling with depression, or even just
someone living alone with pets that need to be
cared for.
If the individual responds “I’m OK” to the pop-
up, there won’t be another pop-up until
tomorrow.
AFTERNOON CHECK-IN
If they don’t click the “I’m OK” option on the pop-up, there will be a follow up pop-up check- in sent six hours later.
EVENING CHECK-IN
If the individual doesn’t respond “I’m OK to either the morning or afternoon pop-up, a last follow up pop-up will be sent 12 hours after the initial daily check-in.
NOTIFICATION
If they don’t respond “I’m OK” to that third pop-up, Text Lifeline™ will automatically send a text to the designated family members, friends, or care takers letting them know there has not been a response in 12 hours.
